Flash Post: Animal Tracks

Animal Tracks

What It Is: A collection of handfelted children’s slippers, made from organic wool that is washed and then shaped into the appropriate animal-inspired booties. The slippers themselves come in a whole menagerie of styles – from cute little pink mice to more obscure choices like donkeys and moles, so you can fulfill nearly any child’s spirit animal request. Also cool? These little shoes are actually crafted in Nepal as part of a fair trade agreement; providing women there with equitable employment opportunities so you can feel good about what the next generation is padding around the house in.

Who It’s For: Here’s the fun part. These slippers come in sizes for newborns up to three-year-old toddlers…but you can also buy matching adult versions of select styles!

What It Costs: As a UK-based outfit the exchange rates are bound to change, but as of writing this post the children’s slippers retailed for about $39 Canadian plus shipping (around $10).
