Call Me Maybe
What It Is: We’ve all made the gesture – you hold your thumb up to your ear and your pinky up to your lips in the universal signal for ‘call me’. Now what if you could actually call someone doing that very gesture? These nifty Bluetooth gloves sync up with your smartphone and allow you to answer calls while holding your mitted hand up to your face (a microphone is built into the wrist). Your hands stay warm while you feel kinda super futuristic at the same time. Plus, you can still interact with your mobile phone thanks to the nano fibers in the fingertips. Nifty.
Who It’s For: Your commuting spouse, so you can touch base while they wait for their bus or train. Your outdoorsy husband, so he can still give you a ring while spending the day ice fishing or hunting. Your favourite teen, so if they absolutely must be on the phone in the middle of winter, at least they’ll stay warm.
What It Costs: A reasonable $24.99 a pair (until the beginning of February).
Where It’s At: The Source, online and in stores. Note there are two sizes to fit lads & ladies hands.
