Flash Post: Have A Ball

What It Is: A recyclable plastic ball that dramatically reduces the amount of detergent (up to 80%) you need to add to any wash cycle for up to 1,000 loads of laundry. This magic ball accomplishes this impressive feat through small ceramic beads that release their clothes-cleansing power upon contact with water. Not only are you saving money, you’ll reduce the number of harmful chemicals that get released into our watersheds.
Who It’s For: Your son upon moving out, as a gentle reminder he can (finally) do his own laundry, and for peanuts. Your eco chic gal pal, as an offbeat ‘just because’ gift. Your mom, as an earth-friendly Mother’s Day option.
What It Costs: I found it on sale for $29.99 as of writing this post, but the regular listed price is $39.99.
Where It’s At: I spotted it on the Nova Scotia family shop Nurtured.ca

This looks like a very useful product, would love to give it a try. And it’s very ‘green’. #cgg

I am fascinated by this product. I wonder if the ceramic balls add agitation or if the plastic ball does? Not sure how it works but it sounds interesting! If it really does work, it would pay for itself in no time if you used 80% less soap! #CGG

I think my mom has one of these…I should ask her how she likes it. #cgg
