Flash Post: Killer Filler

What It Is: A sepia-toned silk chiffon scarf printed with the classic design filler text, Lorem Ipsum (sourced from lipsum.com). For those of you that have zero idea what I’m talking about, when a designer goes to create a document (whether it be a print ad or a brochure or what have you) and they don’t have content (that is, words), they’ll grab filler text from lipsum.com to give you an idea of how the finished product will look once the text is in place. In other words, this scarf is a great big latin nonsense in-joke for designer types.

Who It’s For: See the above. Designer types. Creatives. Even writers, if you want to tick them off a little. You could certainly gift this to anyone that loves a good word-printed scarf, but the only folks that’ll really get it are in the arts industry.

What It Costs: $25

Where It’s At: Spotted on Supermarket, sold by Montreal-based Pattern Recognitions.
