Neat Heat: Drink Your Favourite Beverages at the Perfect Temperature

What It Is: Have you ever had a sip of your favourite hot bevvie and basically spit it out because it’s gone lukewarm? Or conversely, taken a sip of an eagerly anticipated latte only to scald your tongue? Well, the Jül heated mug is designed to precision heat your drink tumbler while sitting on a USB-connected coaster. Just twist it to set your desired temperature and this smart mug does the rest for you. A base light will glow white when the drink is at the ideal temperature, and highlight when it’s too hot or cold otherwise. There’s even a car-friendly model so you can enjoy your favourite drink while stuck in a commute or traveling between Starbucks. So smart!

Who It’s For: Your coffee-addicted colleague. Your road tripping sweetheart. Your commuting parents, for Christmas.

What It Cost: $45 USD + $10 shipping.

Where It’s At: This week is Kickstarter week on the Canadian Gift Guide – I’m highlighting cool Kickstarter projects you can nab in Canada. You can buy Jül now – but only for a few more days – at a great price here. Products won’t ship till the fall – right when you’ll be craving those warm drinks again.

  15. Debra's avatar Debra says:

I don’t care for my coffee to be reheated – my thermal cup keeps it exceptionally hot anyways, and when it gets to be tepid, time to make another one.

BONUE Saha Entry: I think this gift idea is kind of unnecessary. Just have a thermos near by or just drink the tea when it’s hot!
