Halloween Handouts

Bath & Body Works hands down does the cutest stuff for the major holidays of the year. Although their home page is bedecked for Christmas already, given the fact we’re a mere two days from Halloween, I’m going to point you in the direction of their Halloween gear. Namely, their famed anti-bacterial Pocketbac hand sanitizers, which they’ve released in a line of spooktacular scents.

If you’re unfamiliar, B&BW is pretty well-known for their line of soaps and antibacterial gels which kill 99.9% of germs while keeping your hands soft. The Pocketbacs are great, purse-sized items to tote around to keep those nasty fall flu bugs far far away. The Halloween editions are a little special in that they have glow in the dark labels and come in monster-inspired scents like Mummy (marshmallow), Vampire Blood (plum), Bat Bite (green apple), Spider’s Web (licorice), and candy corn.

If you’re headed to a Halloween shindig this weekend, think about stocking up on a few, tossing them in a novelty pumpkin bag with some treats, and handing it over to the host. Alternatively, if you’re one of the less fortunate (or fortunate, depending on how you look at it) who has few kids come down your street, consider stocking up and handing a bottle out with each goodie. At $5 for 5, it’s comparable to buying a full-sized chocolate bar for each kid, and I promise, after a night of trick or treating, they’ll want nothing more than to dig their grimy paws into their treat bins.

If you *do* have a lot of kids or you don’t want the reputation as being the lady that gives away the likes of toothbrushes, juice boxes, and hand sanitizer, perhaps just buy a few and hand them out to your own kids, their treat-grubbing mates, or your nieces and nephews, grandkids, etc. The parents of said tots will greatly appreciate the gesture, and the fun packaging and yummy scents will make the kids happy to oblige.

Tell me what you think...
