Flash Post: Flexibag

What It Is: Tote bags made from recycled advertising billboards – and thus available in an array of bright colours – designed to bring upcycling to a whole new level. The bags can, quite incredibly, support up to 33 lbs of weight, while scrunching up into an incredibly small shape when not in use, meaning you can easily tuck one into your purse, diaper bag, or trunk without sacrificing space.
Who It’s For: Your busy on-the-go mama friend that can’t sacrifice emergency diapers for shopping bag space, but is always rushing to the grocery store between daycare and the office. Your lazy little brother, that can toss a few bags in his trunk for stocking up on party supplies without using flimsy store plastic bags. Your farmer’s market loving mother, so she can buy local produce and be doubly eco-minded by using a recycled bag.
What It Costs: A set of five is just $19.95, meaning you can gift one lucky family with a bunch, or split ’em up as stocking stuffers or gift add-ons.
Where It’s At: Artecnica – which has an online shop, but they’ve also got a bunch of Canadian retailers where you can shop directly.

I’m not too big a fan of the fact that everything in the bag will be visible to others. I am, however, a huge fan of some of the home decor and lighting products they’ve designed!
