Flash Post: Yearn To Burn

What It Is: If you haven’t checked out the absolutely hilarious tumblr starring Hollywood’s most-followed (and in her words, for good reason) celebrity tot Suri Cruise, let me be your introduction to Suri’s Burn BookWith tongue-in-cheek tear downs of fellow celebrity children, ‘Suri’ (or at least her ghostwriter) has the snark and snobbery of a socialite three decades older. In the ongoing trend of blogs-turned-books (watch this space?), you can now pick up this fun little tome that sends up our obsession with celebrities in a fresh and clever way.

Who It’s For: That person on your gift list that subscribes to celebrity magazines, as a silly reality check. That person on your gift list that already owns Dads are the Original Hipsters and The Oatmeal and is looking for another blogger book to add to their ironic coffee table collection. The friend that introduced the blog to you in the first place, so you can introduce them to something equally cool.

What It Costs: If you buy it in stores, $15. If you buy it online, $10.

Where It’s At:  You can find it here on Amazon

I LOVE that blog. I didn’t even know there was a book – thanks!

My friend and I are in grad school and we regularly head to chapters.indigo to de-stress with celebrity magazines — which we fondly refer to as “trashy magazines”. This book would take it up a notch, and I love it! #CGG

  3. Susan says:

I was unaware of this blog, but looks like fun as too many celebs take themselves WAY too seriously! #CGG
