Flash Post: Take A Bite Out Of Life

Gold Chocolate Skulls

What It Is: Handmade chocolate skulls dusted in edible gold and inlaid with a crunchy walnut brain. Not only are these delicate beauties works of art, they’re absolutely scrumptious – made with yummy milk chocolate. The gold are certainly the most gourmand-looking, but the shop actually offers them in a few different finishes & flavours.

Who It’s For: Your gothique girlfriend, as a Valentine’s gift she won’t be able to resist despite hating the holiday. Your rocker boyfriend, as a congrats gift for booking his first gig. Your surly teenager, as a sweet treat for their birthday that’s both cool and cultured.

What It Costs: The chocolates themselves are $8 for a set of 3. Shipping however, is a little pricy – it actually costs more to ship than to buy, but I mean…I couldn’t not feature them. The question is, will you be able to bring yourself to eat them?

Where It’s At: Etsy shop Sparganum.

Bonus Rodial entry of the day, tell me straight up in the comments below: would you eat these?

WOW. First of all, hand-made, in a shape of a skull, with a walnut brain AND dusted with gold? I don’t think I would want to eat them… I would rather save them for decoration or keepsake (which i agree, would be kind of a waste because I’m sure they’re delicious)! They’re like a masterpiece.
