Flash Post: Nearly Naked

Naked Nail Palette Urban Decay

What It Is: I know in light of my randy ‘Love Me Tender’ post the other day a few of you may have been feeling squeamish by the mere sight of today’s post title, but rest assured, there’s nothing raunchy about Urban Decay’s limited edition line of polishes inspired by their legendary ‘Naked’ and ‘Naked 2’ eyeshadow palettes. For the uninformed, Urban Decay has released two blockbuster eyeshadow palettes with various shades and finishes of universally flattering and therefore ‘neutral’ shadows to create clean daytime looks and sexy nighttime smokey eyes alike. This six-bottle collection carries on the same principles, with shades that tilt toward that indescribable peachy-fleshy-beigey-taupey family of colours, with a mix of formulas that finish both creamy and glittery.

Who It’s For: Your sister’s birthday, because the beauty counter is basically her home away from home. Your beauty blogging best friend, because she knows she has a problem and a good friend is an enabler if nothing else. Your tres hip mom, because ladies of any age can pull off these shades.

What It Costs: $30 for the set. Just a note, these are mini bottles of polish, however because they’re pretty high in quality, you can probably get away with one coat to stretch their lifespans.

Where It’s At: I spotted them at Sephora, which is really an unfair bottomless vat of amazing gift ideas at this point.

Want a Rodial bonus entry? Just take a look at the palette here and tell me which shade you’d be most eager to try (they’re listed in order under ‘This Set Contains’).
