Flash Post: Super Spoon
What It Is: A very nifty 2-in-1 gadget called the iSpoon that allows you to whip up your latest culinary concoction and reference the recipe on your iPad (or check your Facebook while the water’s boiling). Steve Jobs argued humans already have a built-in stylus, but those with doughy or seasoning-laden fingerprints will beg to differ – few things are more annoying than fingerprints on your shiny digital screen. Luckily this simple and smart tool keeps your paws off and your cooking on.
Who It’s For: Your BBQ-obssessed dad, so he can baste his sauce and check the scores while manning the grill. Your foodie friendly, as a super affordable hostess option. Your dinner-making spouse, as a fun stocking stuffer come 2013‘s holiday season (works even better if Santa brings them an iPad).
What It Costs: A quite reasonable $7.99
Where It’s At: I spotted it on the Umbra store – which you can order from directly, but Umbra is sold in hundreds of stores nationwide.
Bonus entry alert! If you want an extra entry into the Ezensa giveaway I’ve got going on, just Pin this, leave me a link to your Pin in the comments below, and tell me what you think about it! Practical? Wacky? Too specialized?
Do people really need to be that connected?

I’m gonna get one of these!!
what? you can’t take the time to wash your hands before connecting??
I think this is practical. I’ve just got my first e-reader, and am already in danger of wrecking it. Although I only read it in the bath once, before my more sane instincts told me not to. But pasta sauce would do just as good a job on its innards. So I approve of the spoon :-0
I think it’s funny and a little practical! I think my hubby would love it
Love it. Like that you can use it for other uses so I think it is practical.
iLike the iSpoon… just don’t go flicking stirred crumbs all around while turning to use the tip as a stylus 🙂 http://pinterest.com/pin/12596073930040455
The price is definitely affordable for those people who need to cook and check their techie toys at the same time!
I would certainly use it, I always have my ipad on while I cook to check on the recipe.
oops, forgot the pin http://pinterest.com/pin/1337074861942778/
while I hate the fingerprints, this seems like a bit much
I think it is a great idea! Also something you could use at the dinner table while texting!! LOL
Ezensa Bonus Entry: http://pinterest.com/pin/190347521723053107/ & I think it’s quite practical. Who wants a food stained electronic device?
http://pinterest.com/pin/88383211409509754/ I think it could be great…unless that sauce starts dripping its way down the spoon onto your device…then not so good lol
