10 for $10: Ghouls & Goblins Edition
Instead of just doing a straight ‘Halloween’ edition of October’s 10 for $10 entry, I thought I’d theme it to the various and perennially popular ‘classic’ monsters. From zombies and vampires to ghosts and witches, I’ve got something here for everyone on your list – for $10 or less.
100 Ghosts: A Gallery of Harmless Haunts – $10.19 @ Amazon.ca
A slight 20 cent cheat on my part (although to be fair, the Kindle edition is under $8), but this charming collection of ghostly doodles is a fun hostess gift for whatever Halloween fete you’re attending this season.
LEGO Halloween Pumpkin – $4.99
If you’ve got some little tykes visiting your place this Halloween and you want to give ’em a sugar-free treat, consider this fun Halloween jack-o-lantern made of LEGO blocks.
Skeleton Hair Clips – $8.99 @ Storenvy
I love ‘subtle’ Halloween costumes for say, donning at the office on October 31st. These creepy hair clips are just the way to tip off others something is awry…
Goodnight Goon – $7.99 @ Indigo
Everyone knows the classic children’s book ‘Goodnight Moon’, but this so-called petrifying parody presents a different take that’ll have kids saying ‘Goodnight monsters everywhere!’
Lil’ Vampire Pacifier – $4.99 @ ThinkGeek
Although baby Halloween costumes are the cutest, this fun vampire-themed pacifier might just work as a go-to disguise year-round.
Witches Brew Scented Tea Lights – $9.99 for 12 @ Yankee Candles
What does witches’ brew in candle form smell like you ask? Well it’s primarily grounded by earthy patchouli. Perfect for tossing into your jack-o-lanterns!
Furry Wolfman Werewolf Hat – $6.39 @ Amazon.com
By the time Halloween rolls around, it’s pretty chilly out. This furry hat doubles as both a ready-made costume (just toss on some crazy make-up and torn-up clothes) and a head warmer in the days leading up to Halloween.
Zombie Sleep Mask – $7.99 @ Front & Company
That whole concept of ‘dead to the world’ comes from somewhere after all. Gift this creepy sleepy present to your sibling that’s notorious for not being a morning person.
Black Spider with Red Heart Stud Earrings – $5 @ Owl Monkey
Poor spiders. While actually a year-round presence, they really only get the spotlight shone on them in a not-so-flattering light come Halloween. Weave a spooky look come the big day with these creepy crawly studs.
Devil Cookie Cutter – $4.99 @ Cheap Cookie Cutters
Minus the pink background this cutter could make some menacingly tasty treats. May I suggest Devil’s Food?
So how about it peeps? Want to grab an extra 100% Pure entry for this decidedly fiendish round-up of items? Just tell me in the comments below which of these spectacular spooky ideas you like the best.
