Poppy Fizz Click

Poppy 3DWhat It Is:Poppy is a recent Kickstarter initiative that’s ‘made it’, as the folks might say. It’s a unique device that turns your iPhone into a 3D camera, creating larger-than-life images and ‘wiggle GIFs’ that allow you to feel like you’re viewing a moving, 3D image without needing 3D glasses. Available in white and black, this obviously isn’t the type of attachment you can casually throw on – but it’s pretty impressive tech for a lowly camera phone. Harry Potter would be jealous.

Who It’s For:Your iPhone-obsessed son or daughter, to give them something constructive to do apart from texting the day away. Your hipster photographer pal, for a new way to snap photos on the go. Your doting new parental friends, to take 3D snaps of their tot.

What It Costs:$69.99

Where It’s At:Poppy 3D is available in Canada exclusively through NVU.

    It’s a great idea! Although I admit I don’t own an iphone.

Sorry, just another gadget that I don’t need. I’ve been spring cleaning & purging so I guess I’m learning to be pickier about what actually comes into my home.

  4. Susan T. says:

I think I’m the only person in the world without a smartphone but I have many friends who would love this!

  5. Joan G says:

I think this is another gadget my grandkids will want for Christmas.
