10 for $10: Dad’s Day Edition

I didn’t do a 10 for $10 for Mother’s Day last month (mostly because of timing), but I thought in the spirit of saying hurrah for the dudes for once, it might be nice to spin one for you this month. The idea behind all of these gifts is to pick up a trinket for an important dad-type figure in your life. Maybe it’s a finishing touch to an existing gift idea or a special experience you’ve concocted for the day. Maybe it’s for the father of your collective fur babies (pets). Maybe it’s for the curmudgeonly dad that doesn’t reallllly want to celebrate the day. Or maybe it’s for a new father-in-law that you don’t have an uber tight bond with. Whatever the case, all of these fantastic gifts are available for $10 or less (not including shipping, taxes, etc.) and are well worth looking into.

Sure it may look like a serpent, but this recycled bicycle chain actually houses a clever bottle opener.

Absinthe Purifying Hand Cleanse GelAbsinthe Hand Cleanse Gel – $2 @ The Body Shop
Admittedly most of The Body Shop’s new ‘Absinthe’ line is over the $10 mark, but why not give dad a gentle intro to this dude-oriented line infused with real absinthe with this handy hand sanitizer? If he loves it, you’ll know what to buy him for your next gift-giving occasion.

So there you have it folks! 10 gifts for dad for a tenner or less. Now how about a bonus entry into this month’s Find of the Month for From The Blue House {With Love}? Just tell me in the comments below: which of these cheap & cheerful finds would you most love to gift or receive?
