Think Pawsitive
What It Is:According to the manufacturer, YogaPaws, it’s the “Yoga Mat That You Wear”. What does that mean? Essentially these are padded, non-slip mitts and half-socks that give you extra grip and extra cushion when getting into the heat of your practice. They’re great for beginners to provide more stability and comfort while you learn the difference between Downward Dog and Camel, but they’re also awesome for seasoned pros that are looking for an aid when they’re all slippery during a hot yoga class. They’re even awesome for travelers: in lieu of bringing a heavy yoga mat, just slip on your YogaPaws for a comfortable workout, wherever you may be. Bonus points for being available in five colours and in a variety of sizes (including bigger sizes for men).
Who It’s For:Your jetsetting sibling, so they can get their daily sun salutations in while on the road. Your yoga instructor, so she can demonstrate poses while on the fly. Your just-getting-started hubby, so he can feel more comfortable in each pose.
What It Costs: A set with both the feet and hands is $39.95 plus $7.95 shipping to Canada.
Where It’s At:The YogaPaws website.
Bonus entry into yesterday’s Atelier edele giveaway. Tell me in the comments below – do you practice yoga? Would YogaPaws help you out?
I practice hot yoga, and I think these would help
I don’t practice yoga, but for those that do, I think these would be a great help. As you suggested, great for when travelling too.
Yoga is not in my fitness regime so I don’t see any use for these personally.
I recently started yoga, so far I haven’t had a problem with slipping but I think if I ever started doing hot yoga these gloves would come in handy* 😉
I used to do yoga & never had a problem with slipping but I think that can depend on the surface you are practising on. So yeah, these could come in handy for some.
I have taken yoga classes in the past and hope to get back into it. These are definitely smaller and more convenient to carry than a big yoga mat!
The Sweetest of Dreams bonus entry: I do practice yoga but only sporadically & prefer hot yoga so I don’t think these would help me out. The mat & a towel are sufficient.
I practice yoga on an irregular basis. I love that I don’t have to wear anything on my feet and that it helps me feel the connection to the ground. I don’t think these would help.
i don’t regularly practice yoga, so this might help me out!
I practice yoga, I don’t think these would help, but would be willing to give it a try.
I practice yoga regularly, and I don’t know if I would wear these or whether these props would be helpful.
I don’t practice yoga but I my daughter would benefit from these.
