Honey Do

Bee Panacea

What It Is: What do Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) and I have in common you ask? Well, apart from a love of shopping and David Beckham, apparently we’re also both fans of Virgin Raw Foods’ Bee Panacea. This unique dietary supplement is meant to be taken once per day, on an empty stomach. It includes all of the key ingredients found in bee products – royal jelly, raw honey, pollen and propolis – and mixes them together with 20 different superfoods and Chinese herbs. One teaspoon laterĀ  per day and dedicated users of the product (including Vicky Posh) have noted an increased in their energy, digestion, focus – and even their skin and hair quality. Every batch is handcrafted by sisters Monika and Gosia and the result is something so radically good for you, it’s hard to believe all it takes is a teaspoon. I’ve been testing Bee Panacea out over the last few weeks and while the slighty gritty, herby taste was a bit jarring at first, I’ll admit, I’ve gotten used to it and definitely love the health benefits as well – the first day I took Bee Panacea I had an awful, migraine-level headache, one that wouldn’t dissipate with an Advil. I took a teaspoon of the supplement and within hours I felt more clear-headed and at ease. If that’s not proof – I don’t know what is!

Who It’s For: Your holistic medicine-loving friend, as a way simpler solution to healthy herbal solutions. Your constantly drowsy coworker, as a pick-me-up for life. Your “I want to lose five pounds” family member, as a way to make them feel motivated, stimulated and positive from head-to-toe (note: Bee Panacea is not an appetite suppressant or anything. But the energy it gives you could help cut back on caffeine or blasts of sugar you’d otherwise enjoy to perk yourself up).

What It Costs: $29.95 for 2.5 oz, $45.95 for 5 oz, and $69.95 for 10 oz. You can save some moola if you pony up for a regular subscription to the product, which yes, ships to Canada.

VinoVinti bonus entry: Visited the Virgin Raw Foods site & one fact I’ve learned about Bee Panacea is “their honey comes from local bee keepers and it is 100% RAW. Honey is only considered raw when it has not been heated above 120 degrees Fahrenheit or filtered.” I would be interested in trying out this super dense, super nutrient-dense supplement as it sounds like a natural alternative to sugar.
