Sharp-eyed readers will recognize that last month I continued my latent ‘My Favourite Things’ series with a sneaky entry about ‘Crisp Apple Strudel’. My primary purpose in doing that was in fact, so I could call this year’s hostess gifts post, Doorbells & Sleigh Bells. With over 130 recipes that’ll appeal to ominvores and vegetarians alike (including mouthwatering choices like Cola Barbecue Sauce and Hot Chocolate Muffins) this book takes the stress and fuss out of holiday cooking – and makes a lovely hostess gift particularly if you’re headed to a holiday dinner event.

Canadian Gift Guide 
The Rosemary Fusion Tablet Bar is my favourite idea, everyone I know seems to enjoy chocolate. I might have to buy one for myself & sample it first!
As a foodie, the gourmet salt set would be a welcome addition on my counter. Love them all though, tough choice.
My favourite would have to be the rosemary fusion tablet the bar….chocolate is always the best, but they all look like good gift ideas.
I’m a big fan on David’s Tea so I would choose the tea scented candle
For myself I think the best gift in this list is the gourmet salt set. I actually have a bunch of spices on my wish list this year (grains of paradise, black onion seeds, achiote) so an array of tasty salts for my cooking would be amazing. For gifting however I’d have to go with the Parachute Coffee subscription. I have a lot of coffee lovers in my life and coffee is always on my shopping list come Christmas.
The 5 Mini Cookie packs from iBakery would make super host gifts. They are very pretty. But for myself, I have to say that the Happy Herbivore Holidays & Gatherings would be a treat.

The Wine Pearls are my favourite as I always use ice cubes which water my wine down. They sound great plus am thinking you could use them in any drink so they would be multipurpose.

I like the SPARQ home wine pearls and the Oil & Vinegar dipping plate!
The oil & vinegar with dipping plate is a great hostess gift particular if you bring a baguette with you as well so it can be used at the get together. The coffee subscription would be amazing for my sister in law since she loves coffee. I really like all of the ideas -it just depends on which hostess or host you are visiting.
I love the Happy Herbivore cookbook, but as a hostess gift, I think the Teeny Tiny Bakery cookies are just fantastic!
