Trend Watch: Bucket List
To be clear, the bucket bag isn’t exactly a new trend – on two levels. For one, fashionistas that have been keeping their eye on their style since the 90s will tell you that this famously boho silhouette experienced its last big boom during that era. For another, the bucket bag made a quiet resurgence last spring. But it seems like today, this round, drum-like slouch bag is popping up just about everywhere, at just about every price point, in just about every colour, print and texture imaginable. Above are just a smattering of bucket bags on the market if you’re interested in jumping on the bucket bandwagon.

Kenneth Cole Nevins Leather Bucket Bag – $199 @ Hudson’s Bay – The easiest way to modernize this silhouette is to mix in a vibrant hue like this tropical orange. Also available in a nighttime-ready shimmering silver.
Downing Bucket Bag – $138 USD @ J Crew – Heartbreakingly, this bag was available in a pretty mint green but it appears (understandably) to have flown off the shelves already. Still, if you’re looking for a sturdy, smaller, mid-priced bucket bag, this is a great option.

Fringed Faux Leather Bag – $29 @ Forever 21 – Trends are fleeting – if you don’t feel like investing a bunch of moola into a bucket bag but you do want to keep your wardrobe current, check out this affordable find from Forever 21.
