Rain Activated Color Changing Umbrella Suck UK

What It Is: Call me crazy, but I fully believe that a fun umbrella can almost make the rain bearable. Or at least, make you feel okay about that trudge from your office to the car or bus stop when it’s pouring. Like it or not, one of Canada’s rainier seasons is en route, and I’ve picked out one adorable umbrella to make those dreary days that much brighter. Be your own rainbow with this colour changing umbrella. Pre-rain, it looks like a simple black umbrella with white drops on it. Cue the downpour and suddenly those droplets turn into a myriad of rainbow hues. So pretty – and fun for passersby to watch!

Who It’s For: Your commuting spouse to make their trek home a little more enjoyable. Your attending college niece, to make those cross-campus walks more bearable. Your bad luck buddy, that always seems to get caught in the rain and could use another umbrella in their life.

What It Costs: $39

Where It’s At: Amazon.ca

BONUS entry into yesterday’s In a Dark, Dark Wood giveaway. Tell me in the comments below what you think of this fun gift idea. Do you have a fave umbrella?

My kids would’ve this umbrella. They actually like rainy days just to bring an umbrella to school. I don’t have a favorite one.

I have two favourite umbrellas! One was a gift from my grandmother and the other I purchased, but both are from Japan — it seems they make good umbrellas there as the gifted one has lasted me at least more than half my lifetime now.

I like the design – I don’t have an umbrella that I call my favourite.

I have some old umbrella, but none that I really like. I always take a umbrella away on holidays just in case. However, we have not been on a holiday in a long time. I think this gift is a great idea!

I love funky umbrellas. My favourite one is one that looks like it is made from newspapers that I won from – you guessed it – our local newspaper.

  17. Susan T. says:

This is super cute! I don’t have an umbrella because when we get rain here in the Rockies it comes with a wicked wind that no umbrella could live through! Lol!
