You guys! I’m so excited to share today’s awesome roundup of gift ideas from a brand I’ve been lucky enough to have a longtime affiliation with, Nuvango. What started as a skin company for smartphones has since blossomed into a multi-faceted print shop, curating amazing works of art on printing them on everything from your ereader to greeting cards to canvas art prints. But today, we’re at the dawn of yet another new era for this Canadian printing juggernaut.
That’s right kids. Nuvango is doing clothes. Art printed tank tops, tees and leggings are now a part of their mix – with options for guys AND gals. Now you can own some of the flyest clothing around, with products printed right here in Canada.
Not only that, but Nuvango has opened up a 4,000 square foot retail space at 639 Queen Street West, so you can peruse the goods for yourself in the flesh. But let’s get back to their awesome new products shall we?
First up, the tees. Retailing for $55 a pop, there’s well over 100 designs to choose from between the men‘s and women’s cuts. The good news is, there’s also a ton of overlap, so if you love a print on one top chances are you’ll find it both the men’s and women’s sections. I will note that not *every* print in Nuvango’s super expansive collection made it into their clothing collections – in part, I imagine, because not every style adapts well to this large bodily canvas. But stay tuned for most styles!
If a tank top is more your speed, Nuvango has options for men and women again (the women’s cut is slightly deeper at the neckline), priced at $45 a pop. Again, you’ve got dozens of choices for both men and women and realistically they’re pretty interchangeable. Nuvango was nice enough to send me a sample of their tanks for myself and they are super well made – not see-through at all and the colour is there to stay. They *do* fit a touch small / short so if you’re between sizes I suggest going up one.
That’s not all! Nuvango has also dived into the world of leggings, offering up gorgeous stretchy printed leggings with a hint of sheen to them. Geared specifically for my fellow ladies, these striking leggings retail for $79 a pop. Again, I got to try and a pair and they’re so comfy and extremely well made. They remind me a lot of the leggings you can nab from designer brand Black Milk, only made right here at home with even cooler prints (if such a thing were possible).
And we’re still not done. The latest edition to Nuvango’s line of awesome housewares and decor items are throw pillows! These adorable puffy pillows come in tons of colours and styles from abstract to graphic prints, all to add a serious pow to your favourite lounging space. They’re comfy, cute, and great statement pieces to get conversations started – plus they’re just $49 a pop for a small pillow, or $42 for just the case and no insert.
