What It Is: As I mentioned in this month’s 10 for $10, nerd culture is mainstream these days, which means the hype for the new Star Wars film this year is bigger than ever. So much so that even the likes of Pottery Barn is teaming up with Lucasfilm for an amazing limited edition collection of bedding and more – backpacks, lunch bags, accessories and toys are all part of this cool lineup. Three particular standouts? A set of hilariously awesome sleeping bags, a Death Star beanbag chair and the world’s coolest bed (pictured above).
Who It’s For: Your spouse, that has loved Star Wars since the moment they popped in the VHS as a child. Your child, to induct them into the ways of the Wars. Your brother, to indulge in his lifelong nerdiness. Yeah the line may be at PB Kids, but that doesn’t mean you can’t nab it for any age.
What It Costs: Prices range – bedding starts at $40 and climbs up to $200. The bulk of the other items are under $200, although the bed above is $6,000+ and the beanbag chair I mentioned is $249.
