Pillow Pals

Pillow Mob

What It Is: This is a gift idea I actually treated a few members of my family to last year – and there’s still plenty of time to make it part of your holidays this year. PillowMob is a fun custom pillow printing service that allows you to create crafty, quirky pillows in a flash. First, choose an image – perhaps headshots of your entire family, a beloved pet (the angle I took), or some other fun motif. Second, choose a shape for your pillow. Third, pick what colour of background you want. A few weeks later (and free shipping) and a custom pint-sized (they’re a little bigger than the size of your head) pillow will be dropped off at your doorstep. Brilliant!

Who It’s For: That pet lover in your family, to celebrate their furry friend. Your newlywed son or daughter, as a fun housewarming gift. Your parents, with photos of their grandbabies.

What It Costs: $35 a pillow.

Where It’s At: You can order PillowMob online, which includes free worldwide shipping. It takes about three weeks to arrive.

Speaking of things that’ll show up on your doorstep, have you seen my KittyKitty giveaway? Enter to win a fun subscription box filled with kitty-themed items. And as a bonus entry in that giveaway, tell me in the comments below – what would you make a pillow of?
