Put a Label On It

Label With love

What It Is: Admittedly I think a lot of wedding / engagement / baby announcement stuff is a tad overhyped (The pressure to be creative!) BUT I do think this is a very cute, more low-key way of celebrating with friends and family. Label With Love creates custom labels you can apply to any ol’ bottle of wine or champagne. With a massive collection of designs ranging from “Will you be my bridesmaid?” to thanking your in-laws for welcoming you into their lives to some very cute birth announcements that pose cute messages like ‘The best sisters get upgraded to aunties”. Whatever occasion you can think of that involves raising a toast, there’s probably a custom label you can pick up for it!

Who It’s For: Your bridesmaids, to welcome them into your wedding party fold. Your parents, to announce the arrival of a new baby. Your spouse, to celebrate milestones in your relationship.

What It Costs: Prices vary – I don’t think I saw anything over $35 CDN (for a basic set of 6-8 labels), but they go up the more you need. You could outfit an entire wedding, for example. Shipping started at about $10.

Where It’s At: Label With Love is on Etsy!

Speaking of love, why not nab an extra entry into my Quo Cosmetics giveaway by telling me in the comments below what you think of this idea – and what you’d use it for.

This is a great idea – we did something similar for a hockey fundraiser years ago by putting the team picture on the bottle & parent/friends/grandparents loved it.
