Skin in the Game
My (almost) All-Canadian month continues, this time with a more in-depth look at IDC (aka Integral Dermo Correction). Based out of Quebec, this innovative brand develops anti-aging skincare products that use their patented Regen-16 technology, designed to target what they consider the 16 factors of skin aging. Available on BeautyBoutique.ca, I’ve highlighted a few of IDC’s key products below – plus everything featured in this post will be up for grabs for one lucky reader to win!
IDC Pearl Gel Cleanser – $29.50
The key to any good skincare regime is to ensure your skin is as refreshed and clean as possible – clearing out your clogged up pores allows their products to penetrate that much more deeply. This gentle deep cleansing gel purifies the skin, removes makeup, and uses natural pearl extracts to lightly exfoliate and reveal a more radiant complexion.
IDC Regen Boost – $69.95
If you follow the ‘routine’ on the IDC website, then you’d notice that after cleansing, the next step is correcting. They actually offer a range of general serums for specific and general age ranges, as well as specific serums to target key skin challenges. This particular skincare supplement is designed for all ages, and helps restore your skin’s radiance by combining their signature anti-aging complex with nourishing ingredients to combat dullness, loss of tone, sensitivity and dehydration. It’s particularly key if you suffer from exhaustion or stress – it’s designed for the busy woman on the go to use daily or as a seasonal skincare supplement.
IDC Regen Express Perfection – $59.95
The next step after correction is sealing, and while IDC has a few moisturizers to seal in all the goodness, they’ve also got some multi-action products like this Correct & Seal all-in-one for your face, eye contour and neck. With one single step, you’ll correct skin deficiences, lock in moisture, protect, and conceal. Formulated with IDC’s Regen 16 anti-aging complex, this product might be the one to invest in if you’re just testing out the brand – it’ll target fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness, includes SPF 15, and comes in a universal light-adapting tint for flawless coverage and a pretty smooth complexion.
IDC Face Protection Cream SPF 50 – $29.50
Apart from their core skincare product line (for the record, they also have a for men line), IDC is also getting into the world sun protection, with innovative new formulations that are designed for maximum sun protection. This unique formula is the result of years of research into the effects of UVA and UVB rays, as well as the lesser known infrared (IR) rays. Free from fragrance, aluminum and parabens, this product is water-resistant, hypoallergenic and w0n’t clog pores, leaving skin with a soft, smooth look and plenty of sun protection!
As you may have noticed, all four of these products are particularly excellent for the summertime – from the SPF power of the Regen Express and the Facial Sunscreen to the cleansing power of the Pearl Cleansing Gel (great to scrub off any daily build-up from being outdoors more) to the seasonal support of the Regen Boost…so of course, I’m excited to give away this whole set of summer skincare essentials in a stylish cosmetic bag!
