Salt Lick

Amola Salt

What It Is: A collection of infused salts using all natural ingredients from Vancouver-based Amola. In general, these types of salts work great as finishers (for example, sprinkle some on a fresh popped batch of popcorn or on a grilled steak), but they can also be swapped in to spice up (literally) a recipe. And Amola has some of the most creative blends I’ve seen to date – like Smoky Espresso Salt and Aztec Mole Salt. They’ve also got handy salts for cocktails aficionados, like Caesar Rim Salt.

Who It’s For: The dinner party hosts, for their next fete. Your neighbour, for picking up your mail while on vacay this summer. Your culinary spouse, to tuck into their stocking.

What It Costs: $10 a box.

Where It’s At: Online or check our their Retailers page.

BONUS ENTRY into my summer beauty post – tell me in the comments below, which Amola salt are you most interested in? Hint, check ’em all out here.
