Colours of the Wind
What It Is: A collection of adult colouring books specifically tailored for Canadians. What’s kind of cool about these books is you can tear each image out (they’re all printed single-sided) if you happen to craft a particular masterpiece. There’s also a lot of micro lines on each page to help guide you if you’re interested in doing some more advanced shading techniques to add some depth to your pictures. Featuring breathtaking vistas and familiar lakeside landscapes, these are great picks whether you’re headed on a camping trip or settling down at your cabin for a quiet week of unplugging.
Who It’s For: Your parents, to bring out to their decidedly non-wifi connected cottage. Your family, to keep everyone occupied while stopping for lunch on your road trip. Yourself, to spend time in the great outdoors while colouring it in.
What It Costs: Each book is about $18.99 full price.
Where It’s At: I spotted these two plus a National Parks one on Amazon.ca – Cottage book here, Canada book here.
Speaking of colourful gifts – nab an extra entry into yesterday’s Plum Perfection giveaway and tell me in the comments below – would you pick up one of these Canadiana colouring books for someone? Which one?
I would for myself and I’d choose the Canada colouring book!

I’d buy either of them for my granddaughter – painting and colouring are her two indoor activities.

Bonus Plum Comfort Entry: Though they are cute, I probably wouldn’t pick up one of these Canadiana colouring books for someone because we all don’t have time to complete a whole book of colour … what a stressful endeavour!
