This Provincial Life
What It Is: This year is Canada’s 150th Jubilee, meaning you’re going to be seeing a lot of Canadiana pride items popping up at your fave retailers. I will of course be highlighting tons of Canadian gift ideas as I always do, but don’t be surprised to see an influx of Canadian-themed items like today’ gift idea. These cuddly unisex sweatshirts are emblazoned with a vintage jersey-style script, highlighting the Canadian provinces and their incorporation dates. From the provinces born close to the same time as our nation (I see you Manitoba) to our most recent addition, Nunavut, there’s a cute way to show your provincial pride!
Who It’s For: Your friend that moved (or is moving) away to remember their roots. Your born here, raised here spouse that loves their home province. Your just-visiting cousins from another nation, to celebrate the slice of Canada they’ve gotten a taste of this year.
What It Costs: $98 each
Where It’s At: Drake General Store
Bonus entry into my Chatbooks giveaway – tell me in the comments below, would you nab one of these? Which province?
These are very cool but a little pricey. I would need a NB one.
I like the ladies white top for Ontario!
My grandson would like this
These look great but I probably would pass as I’m not a sweatshirt gal.
I’d like a navy Alberta one for each of my 2 grandsons.
I prefer a hoodie but these are nice. NL for me.
I am not a fan of these sweat shirts and would not buy it.
I’d nab B C !
Don’t know if I’d buy one, but I would take a NL one if I got it for free.
Ontario of course
I would – I am proud to be an Albertan!
I’d get BC, I think.
I would never pay nearly $100 for a sweatshirt, but if I did it would be Ontario.
A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT ALBERTA ALL THE WAY
Too pricey for me, but if I was to buy one it would be for Ontario.
I am more interested by the ‘Canada 150’ lapel pins. Where can I find a really nice one?
I would nab a British Columbia sweatshirt if I won this contest.
I probably wouldn’t get one as I think it’s a little pricey.
Like them but I would not spend that much. If I did it would be Ontario.
