Straighten Up: How the Upright Go Can Fix Your Posture
What It Is: Have you stood up straight lately? No really, I’m asking. With many of us stuck sitting behind a desk all day, many of us are experiencing back pain and a curved spine. Not only is this not that comfortable, it’s not particularly attractive either. Enter Upright Go, a nifty little device that you place between your shoulder blades to gently remind you (via vibration) to stop slouching. This wearable gadget transmits data to an associated app as well, so you can see how your posture is progressing over time – hopefully to a more straight and comfortable position! Now that’s a gift idea I can back.
Who It’s For: Your chronically slouching coworker. Your chronically sore parents. Your chronically addicted to screen time teen.
What It Costs: $69 USD
Where It’s At: Today’s the last day of Kickstarter week on my blog! You can nab this cool gadget at Kickstarter right now for less than the regular retail price right here.

Not a bad idea. I know a few people who may benefit from this.
I need this badly! Great idea.
A great idea if you cannot improve your posture by any other method.
great for the office worker
I really like this idea. I need it. I am always having to remind myself to sit up and relax my shoulders, usually when it starts to hurt.
Good reminder for those of us who slouch, unintentionally. 🙂
I’m going to buy this for my teenage son, who is a sloucher. I am a subscriber
I like this, I might give this a try.
The Upright Go is just what I need – my bad posture is pretty bad!
this would be great for me! I have terrible posture!
I could use this! I have bad posture!
I’d try it
this is a really good idea. There are so many health benefits from good posture.
Looks like a good idea, not something I need.
I wish I could try it – if it works, I would buy,
I would love to try it – I am trying to improve my posture. My mom could use this too.
If it works I’d love to try it.
I could use. I’m always slouching
I am already showing signs of permanent postural issues and am constantly reminding myself to sit up straight, this gadget would be awesome!
I’m not sure I believe that this would work but I would be interested in reading any research
I think this would be a good idea; I would like to see how it works.
BONUS Joe Fresh ENTRY : I think I need this cool idea in my life – I have terrible posture from sitting in front of the computer all day, every day.
Cool idea but a bit expensive!
I know a few people who would benefit from this technology.
This gadget is something I could use. I do tend to slouch a lot. A co-worker had a similar device but she didn’t wear it between her shoulder blades. She wore in on her shirt collar, and it vibrated too, if she wasn’t sitting properly.
I think I need this have terrible posture
This is something I would benefit from as I am a chronic sloucher
seems too gimmicky, but would need to try it first.
This sounds like it might actually work! I tried a posture brace after three compression fractures in my thoracic spine. The braces are really uncomfortable under your arms…so of course I stopped wearing it. Thank you so much for the recommendation!
I know that I slouch all the time when sitting down, just never think about it. I would love to win one of these gadgets to alert me when I am slouching.
its not a bad idea
I certainly think it’s worth a try and I’d certainly be willing to try it out.
I’d be interested in trying this as I have bad back pain.
Awesome idea for anyone with developing back problems
I love the idea of Upright Go! Many of my older female relatives suffer from “rounded back” in their later years. As I fear this might also be my fate, I’ve tried elastic posture correctors but found them very uncomfortable. This gizmo looks like it would suit me perfectly. No bulkiness to it at all. I would love to win this!!!!
I’ve wanted this for a long time!
As someone who suffers from back problems, I think this is a great idea!
