What a great idea from MEC. I used to backpack through Europe and Asia and carried 2 packs. A bigger one that I left at the coin lockers at the train stations and used the “day bag”. I had the carry the day bag slung across my chest. With this backpack, I can carry both at the back. Wish there was this backpack then.
I love this backpack. It looks very compact and durable. A big plus is the detachable daypack. I can think of several friends and family members who would love this backpack including myself.
This is certainly a nifty backpack — ideal for the European trip takers this summer. That would`ve been me 2 decades ago, but I might give it a go again, sometime soon.
