Pedal Power: Who Says Sitting All Day Means You Can’t Burn Calories?
What It Is: The stats are out there and they are staggering – sitting is killing us. While standing or treadmill desks are one option, for some people they’re not conducive to their work spaces. Enter Cubii. This under-desk elliptical machine boasts it’s the quietest device of its type, and can help burn up to 150 calories per hour. Plus it has smart tracking capabilities if your fitness tracker can’t ‘follow’ that you’re pedaling while seated. It’s a great way to stay trim between visits to the gym!
Who It’s For: Your spouse, to stave off those love handles. Your boss, to burn off some of that energy. Your work-from-home parents, to keep their hearts pumping.
What It Costs: $349 USD
Where It’s At: Shop Cubii here.

Pricey. I would not buy it. Gym time is good enough.
interesting but no room under my desk at my volunteer job
Interesting, but I do enough running around in the course of my day.
It’s an interesting idea for people who are at their desks all day.
Great idea for those who sit for long periods of time.
I think it is a great idea for those who sit for long periods.
Great idea but quite pricey.
This is great, so compact and convenient! I would definitely use this at work
I like how small and portable it is
I’d want to try it before purchasing.
I would love to try this!
I would use it at home watching TV – I think it’s a great machine.
This would be great during the winter months.
I couldn’t use it at work but I would definitely use it at home if it wasn’t so expensive.
I’d use it at home.
I am on my feet all day at work so I definitely could not use it. It is pretty expensive so even if I had a desk job I would not buy it. I would rather go out golfing and get some fresh air and exercise
I would love to have this and use it.
Wish I could afford it
I would use it
I would use it… but I would use it at home rather than at work as I’m sure it would be too noisy at work.
BONUS So Beautiful The Body Shop ENTRY : I think this exercise machine is great but one needs the motivation to use it and any other gadget for it to be beneficial. For it’s price I can’t justify getting it ‘cos I can just see it going to the exercise equipment bone yard. Now if it also generated energy that might be an incentive. Thanks
Great idea!! I’d love this!
I love this exercise machine…nothing like being able to work out, even when I am sitting watching TV on the couch. I am currently not working due to a chronic lower back injury, but as I am always working at home on some project on the long list of to-do’s, I would definitely be using this sweet machine ‘at work’.
I really like the idea. It would work well for people who sit at a dest all day, but as a nurse, I am walking all day.I may use it at home while watching TV
looks gimmicky
I could surely see myself use this at work or even at home watching TV.
This is good idea, good for my husband I am a subscriber
I love this exercise machine. I would definitely use it at work.
Can one really benefit by doing so little? Would be fun to try.
I actually might use this at work. I’m at my desk all day and I get fairly bored of not moving. Maybe this machine would help fix that.
I definitely would love to try it during our too long winter months when activity outdoors can be treacherous.
I love this device and would use it at work (as long as it isn’t too noisy).
Great little device, easy to store when not in use. I would use it daily when I am sitting watching movies, need to loose weight.
not sure this would be for me. looks to clumsy to move from one space/job to another
I would probably be most interested if it was less costly.
I would only use it if it was free. Don’t have the money for it.
holy jeez amazing!!! YES I could use this! I don’t work but do a lot on the computer so spending lots of time sitting and sometimes feeling guilty for it ! this would totally rock
the concept is great but with desks set up as they are can you really use it to its full intent
