Clean House: A Father’s Day Gift from Dyson that ‘Sucks’ in the Best Way

Dyson Robot

What It Is: I don’t know about your dad, but mine does the vacuuming in the house – and isn’t the biggest fan of it. That’s what makes today’s gift idea so darn appealing. Pairing Dyson’s legendary vacuum technology with the convenience of a robot, this pint-sized machine is the result of $56 million worth of research and innovation. Never losing suction, it goes from room to room to ensure every last crumb and dust bunny is taken care of, using a 360° vision system that snaps up to 30 frames per second. After scoping out the place, this smart device creates a floor plan and gets to cleaning. Dad can put his feet up at long last – and enjoy the spic and span home he’s always loved. Now if only he had this when you were causing a mess as a kid…

Who It’s For: The neat freak dad. The would-rather-be-chilling dad. Literally anyone that hates vacuuming.

What It Costs: $1,299

Where It’s At: DysonCanada.ca and select Dyson resellers across Canada.

  34. Lorna Braun says:

sorry wouldn’t splurge. Had a romba once. These are great concepts but reality doesn’t come close for a “care free vacuum” experience. The dirt “bucket” is way too small for carpet vacuuming. Just saying

  35. Carol Oddy says:

Could never afford to buy a vacuum at the price, but would sure love to own one of these as a prize.
