Back to Your Roots: See What’s In Store for #Canada150 with Roots

What It Is: I still remember how everyone wanted our (now probably dorky) red hats at the Olympics back when Roots was the official clothier of Team Canada. Regardless, the nation’s most patriotic brand has returned to form with an all-Canadian line-up of leather goods (like passport covers and bags), and clothing for men and women. From cuddly sweats to sun-blocking hats to classic tees, if you’re looking for a place to pick up some Canadiana gear you’ll wear time and again (and may even deem heirloom-quality) to cute kids items, look no further than Roots Canada Collection. Be sure to catch their tour this summer for some fun pop-up shops carrying the entire Canada collection and ‘nice’ collection (which plays on our international reputation).

Who It’s For: Your wife, as a sweet snuggly thing to wear on the weekends. Your kid, that’s heading back to school this fall and could use a timeless bag. Your jetsetting pal, to hook them up with a fun ‘nice’ passport cover.

What It Costs: Prices vary, but most women’s and men’s tees start at around $35, while kids tops are at around $20. Bags can run in the hundreds.

Where It’s At: Shop Roots online + get the lowdown on their national pop-up shop tour.
