Brow Down: Maybelline Thinks Chalk isn’t Just for the Classroom

What It Is: I recently got to try out some of Maybelline’s latest innovations, and given my (and the beauty world’s) obsession with all things brows, I had to take a moment to highlight this neat little product – Maybelline’s Brow Drama Shaping Chalk Powder. Pint-sized and ready for your purse, this portable brow powder has a chalky consistency that allows you to fill in your brows with ease. Simply use the thin side of the applicator to shape your brows, then fill it in with the thicker, flat side, using as many layers as needed to get the desired effect. I also advise having a spoolie handy to help brush it through for a more natural look, as this does deliver pretty bold brows. Coming in five shades, this handy little brow chalk plays nicely with other products too. My only tip? Be wary of too much product on the brush (for fallout) and use a light hand till you get the hang of it.

Who It’s For: Your getting-greys in her brows sibling. Your brow-loving bestie. Yourself.

What It Costs: $11.99

Where It’s At: Drugstores and mass market retailers across Canada.

Nab an extra entry into yesterday’s Gem + Co. giveaway! Tell me in the comments below – would you try this product? What’s your go-to beauty brow routine?
