10 for $10: Everything Orange Edition
Handy hint about Halloween: You can get away with not adhering directly to the goblins and ghouls theme simply by using orange and black. And that goes for anything – a pop of orange in your outfit or a ‘treat’ in an orange package suddenly seems a lot more festive with Halloween on the horizon. While a few of today’s 10 for $10 items definitely have a stronger Halloween tinge to ’em, the main connection is simply the colour orange. Oh, and the fact they’re all $10 or less, not including taxes or shipping!
Orange Mosaic Hair Ties – $6 @ Claire’s
Not super convinced orange is your best friend? Try this stacker set of super soft hair elastics – they look as good on your wrist as they do keeping your ponytail up.
Orange Glow Herbal Tea – $8.98 for 50g @ DAVIDsTEA
Not only does this tea taste like liquid sunshine, the radiant blend of ginger, orange, and carrot pieces gives it a gorgeous sunny hue to boot.
SEPHORA COLLECTION Hand Mask – $8 @ Sephora
As I mentioned; no direct Halloween correlation doesn’t make this any less festive. Having your friends over to hand out candy? Make it a mani / pedi party and kick things off by handing out some pumpkin orange-packaged argan oil hand masks.
Boo Yah Onesie – $9.50 @ Old Navy
I didn’t say I was going to totally ignore Halloween did I? As always, Old Navy is a choice destination for cute festive gear at great prices – like this adorable tongue-in-cheek onesie that’s perfect for showing off your baby’s punkin belly.
Magic Wand Soap – $6.95 @ Lush
I’m always thrilled to see the new products at Lush for Halloween, and this year is no exception. This brilliantly-coloured soap will surely make you smile in the morning, with a sweet, fruity scent and a detoxifying charcoal outer layer to revitalize your skin.
Orange Peeler – $1.49 @ Well.ca
An orange orange peeler? It was too meta not to include – and also a practical choice given we’re coming into prime orange-eating season with the holidays around the corner.
essie Meet Me at Sunset Nail Polish – $9.99
A deep, vibrant orange manicure is just what the doctor ordered if you want to look season-ready and not OTT Halloween-y.
Strappy Knit Bralette – $9.90 @ Forever 21
Super comfy, this electric orange bralette is perfect for an at-home yoga practice or day of simply lounging (and wanting to look good).
Contrast Spiral Notebook – $7 @ Indigo
Even back-to-school can feel a little more in-the-season if you add an orange-covered notebook to the mix. Get a spooky themed pencil to amp things up.
Retro Orange Headband – $9 @ Simons
If you think orange doesn’t work with your colouring, my best advice is to go dark – like this burnt orange 70s-inspired headband with a bold brass o-ring detail.
