Arc’teryx Circle: Cozy Winter Performance Gear You Won’t Be Able To Resist

What It Is: Let’s get real people. Winter is coming up fast – and may already be in your neighbourhood depending on where you live. If you’re in the market for a new parka / ski jacket / down vest for the season, why not add one to your holiday wish list? And if so, might I point you in the direction of Arc’teryx? This cult Canadian brand checks all the boxes in terms of what you’d look for in a product that’ll keep you toasty warm this winter: Their products are field-tested for performance, have in-house design and manufacturing centres, uses reliable fabrics like waterproof GORE-TEX, and uses a mix of insulation in different spots where you need it most (including quick-dry Coreloft™ at high-wear areas like the wrists). The Arc’teryx site is also a breeze to browse on – you can shop by activity, from simply running around town to wintery activities like climbing and snowboarding or skiing. And while I’ve highlighted some of their colourful insulated jackets up above (no fear, every jacket also comes in basic neutrals like black or white if colour ain’t your bag), they carry a huge range of base layers, pants, packs, footwear, and yes, climbing gear. A Canadian brand built for Canadian winters – what’s not to love?

Who It’s For: Your outdoorsy winter sports-loving spouse. Your son or daughter that works outdoors. Yourself, for that snowy ski trip you’ve got on the calendar this season.

What It Costs: Arc’teryx prides itself on premium materials and construction through and through. Their prices are on the higher side – the insulated jackets you see above range from about $300 – $450 – but when it comes to winterwear I definitely believe you get what you pay for.

Where It’s At: Shop Arc’teryx online here – they also have a few stores across Canada, in Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto.

I know we’re talking winter today, but did you guys see my beautiful bouquet giveaway with Callia yesterday? If you want to earn an extra entry into that draw, just leave a comment below with a link to your favourite product on the Arc’teryx site!
