Let’s jump into this shall we? My Cup of Tea is a Canadian (!) company that’s probably best known for their Zodiac Bloom teas. Pairing Chinese herbology with sheer artistry, when placed in a glass teapot, the Zodiac teas unfurl into a glorious array of flowers and herbs packed with powerful tastes, scents, and body-boosting benefits.

It’s a little disarming to picture the essence of tea like the Cancer bloom pictured above, but that’s literally what these look like when they’re made. A far cry from a sad little white tea bag yes? Each of the twelve brews available in the Zodiac line have their own healing properties – from relieving stress to nourishing the liver to improving blood circulation. Plus they’re surprisingly affordable. $3 gets you a box of six tea bags, while $30 gets you all twelve zodiac signs for a sampling of every month of the year.

It’s no secret that I love tea, and love tea as a gift choice. In general it’s cheaper than coffee, and has better body benefits beyond that. The awesome thing about the Zodiac collection is you can snag a pouch for your best friend on their birthday as a 21st century answer to a birthday card (or cake).

My Cup of Tea also offers plenty beyond the Zodiac Bloom sets – traditional loose and bagged teas are available, as are the accessories you’ll need to showcase your blooming buys, including glass teapots like the one above. Obviously they ship throughout Canada for quite reasonable rates, although I first crossed paths with the company at a local gift shop, so I imagine they’ve got a decent retail presence as well.
