10 for $10 – June 2012 Edition

I got a little excited at the prospect of placing today’s post on June 10th. 10 for $10 on the 10th? Consider me sold. This is one of my favourite posts to do each month, hence why I’m glad I had a handful of spare, non-amazing-prize-days to load up with fun posts like this one. As always, every item here is listed for $10 (regular price) at the time of writing this, but doesn’t include shipping if bought online. Stock up to scrimp on shipping charges.

Babushka Stationery Set – $6 @ Mimoco
As someone with some Ukrainian heritage in me, I adore these uber cute Babushka magnets & paper clips. Thank your child’s (or your own) favourite teacher with a cute set to get them geared up for next year.

Ferry-Morse Heirloom Seeds – $1.68 each @ Amazon.ca
How does your garden grow? Hopefully with ripe fruits & veggies in unique heirloom varieties from Ferry-Morse. Makes a great housewarming token for a green thumbed coworker that’s just taken the plunge from condo-dweller to homeowner.

Nexxtech 9-Bulb LED Flashlight – $4.99 each @ The Source
Light up the night with one of these cute & colourful LED flashlights. Perfect for tossing into a bag for your kid heading off to summer camp, or gifting to your girlfriend for her glovebox in case she gets stranded on a lonely stretch of road.

Whale Bottle Opener – $9.50  @ Indigo
Never be cast adrift without a way to crack open a beer again! This cast iron collectible is a great gift for the seafaring dad this Father’s Day.

Bright Crossbody Bag – $10 @ Garage
Any gal can have some fun in the sun with this eye-popping cheap & chic bag. Makes a fab find for your favourite niece, or fill it with mini bottles of liquor to celebrate a friend’s summer birthday bash.

Circ Party Plate – $9.99 @ goneshopping.ca
Keep your finger food within reach with this handy snack tray that attaches to most standard wine glasses. Now you can hold your sip and your party treats at the same time! Gift a set to a friend for an upcoming bridal or baby shower.

Scratch & Sniff Stickers – $3 each @ Mortimer Snodgrass
No kid can get enough stickers, and ‘smellies’ are among the most coveted. These playful stickers bring to life delicious scents like cotton candy and chocolate with a variety of fun shapes. Win over a kid you’re babysitting for a friend by presenting them with a pack, or buy a set for your friend that’s embarking on an education career.

Beaded Bangle Set – $10 @ Joe Fresh
Elegant, sophisticated, and totally affordable, these shell-inspired bangles are a perfect treat to thank mom for watering your veggie garden whilst you’re on holidays this summer.

SmartPhone Case – $4.95 each @ H&M
These graphic-print rubber cases evoke the 80s – in a good way. Pick one up for a friend that’s just splashed out on their first iPhone and still hasn’t gotten over the novelty of a new case every 5 seconds.

I would strongly recomment the Scratch & Sniff Stickers, I have used them with my kindie students when we are exploring the five senses, and they get such a hoot out of the skunk ones!
