Flash Post: Dice As Nice

What It Is: Sweet relief in the form of culinary magic! This way-handy kitchen gadget makes it super simple to uniformly chop your fruits and veggies (without pureeing them with an electric chopper) for stir fries, salads, or whatever suppertime dish you’re whipping up. Whether you need cubes or sticks, simply press and watch as the plastic cover pops your food away from the blades. Bonus – the compartment where you food is being diced can actually work as a storage container and measuring cup, so you can keep track of how much you need, and store any extras for later.
Who It’s For: Your sister that can’t cut an onion without looking like she just watched The Notebook for the first time. Your mom, who despite having a drawer full of kitchen extras, won’t be able to resist this handy gadget. Your totally adorable couple friends that invite you over for the best dinner parties.
What It Costs: Yay for manual magic! This little gadget is just $15.95 + shipping (call for a quote).
Where It’s At: Amazing US-based kitchen retailer Sur La Table, but consider tracking down the manufacturer (Progressive) for a list of a local kitchenwares retailer that stocks it as well.

If it makes life easier in the kitchen I say “YAY”. 🙂 #cgg

I was wondering how well it would actually work until I saw that it was carried at Sur la Table. I doubt they’d carry it if it didn’t work as promised. Would love one for the onion cutting alone! #CGG

My mom loves these little gadgets! To Canadian readers — apparently they retail at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Sears, so you may be able to purchase one there to avoid shipping costs.
