Flash Post: Quite Frankly

What It Is: Throwback alert! Every generation has that must-have school supply memory. Whether Trapper Keepers or Mr. Sketch Smelly Markers, or in the case of the blessed children of the 90s (like myself), a piece of Lisa Frank’s psychedelic stationery and sticker collection, you can equate certain brief time periods with extremely random school age trends. Now you can delve right back into Frank’s colourful, imaginative world with this retro collection currently being carried at Urban Outfitters. Restock your supply cupboard with electric-hued notebooks, stickers, postcards, stationery, erasers and more!

Who It’s For: Your sister, who demolished her ballet-dancing bunny binder in her elementary years and will appreciate the kicky throwback. Your sticker-collecting niece, to introduce a whole new generation of fans to Frank’s work + encourage this rather quaint hobby to continue. Your best girlfriends, as fun add-ins for their holiday presents (hint: swap regular Christmas cards for the postcard collection!)

What It Costs: The bulk of the pieces are between $8 – $20, although you should check out the limited edition ‘Casey’ cookie jar, inspired by Frank’s legendary golden retriever puppy motif for $79.

Where It’s At: Urban Outfitters, as I mentioned, which has stores across Canada + can ship to your home for as little as $10.

Guess I will be buying some! Love Lisa Frank! I still have stuff from her like a stationary set and erasers but did I ever love it when I bought it in the US many many years ago. #cgg
