Flash Post: Sight Unseen

What It Is: Invisible bookends. You heard me. You see the picture above. There’s bookends holding all those slightly askew titles upright. Believe it or not, this nifty mirrored stainless steel device requires absolutely no hardware – all you’ve gotta do is put your favourite stories in line (for up to 1.5 metres worth of storage) and presto, you can display your favourite books on the floor, a shelf, or even on your desk if you want to keep essential reading at your fingertips during the workday.

Who It’s For: Your bookworm brother, to spiff up his otherwise bachelor-spartan apartment. Your graphic design spouse, who will both appreciate the minimalist, clever approach and be grateful to have a place to store all of her design reference books. The lucky winners of next month’s Find of the Month…tease much?

What It Costs: Approximately $67, not including shipping and such things.

Where It’s At: I spotted it on designer Paul Cocksedge’s shop, although fair warning, it’s still in preorder mode – the ends won’t be sent out till November 12th.
