All Wrapped Up
To me, few stores feel quite as Christmasy as Lush does come the holiday season. This may be due to the fact their shelves are quite literally overtaken with stacks of pre-wrapped presents laden with the brand’s signature products – many of which are only available at the holidays, or are new inventions strictly for Christmas morning unwrapping. After scouring their holiday collection multiple times, I finally narrowed down my favourite pre-wrapped pressies (and a standout newbie item within each one) at various price points to help you scout out what’s in-store before you hit the mall.
For Your Secret Santa: Christmas Party – $16.95
If your holiday gift exchange at the office this year allows you to spend in the $20 range, this is the absolute perfect gift set. With two brightly-coloured, party-tastic treats designed to liven up the bath, this is a fun way to play on the idea of a ‘Christmas Party’. The newbie Northern Lights soap mimics the Great White North’s winter skies, while the Party Popper bath bomb unleashes a tidal wave of bubbles in the tub – and a pretty pink hue to boot. Also nifty? Despite the gift’s title, it’s actually pretty non-denominational, if that’s an issue.
Standout Product: The Party Popper will literally zip around your tub once you drop it in, and mimics Pop Rocks candy with crackling noises. Plus once it dissolves, use the included soap flakes to lather up to get the most out of your bath bomb!
For Your Best Friend: Rocket Around The Christmas Tree – $26.95
The unconventional take on Santa’s spacey sleigh that adorns this gift set will bring a smile to your gal pal’s face – as will the three bathttime goodies tucked away inside. The Father Christmas bath bomb is the perfect treat for a pre-Christmas party soak, by dying your tub red and green and releasing a zingy orange scent. The new kid on the block, Snow Globe soap, carries on the citrus scent and mimics an actual snow globe with its giant chunks of white snowflake-esque moisturizers. And the titular rocket component is fulfilled by none other than the Rocket Reusable Bubble Bar, a relatively new invention by Lush that has only hit the market in the last year.

For Your Boss: Merry Christmas – $43.95
Get the staff to chip in $5 each and purchase this golden box as a lovely gift for the boss lady in your office. She’ll be absolutely touched and take the hint that the holidays are time to unwind, thanks to the five gilded products within. With a honey-infused shower gel, two glitter-specked bubble bars, a dessert-inspired body lotion, and a present-shaped bath bomb, the entire set just screams (little) luxury. Best of all, three of the items featured in this particular collection are actually available year-round, so you can always stock up on a little trinket for Boss Day or her birthday later in the year.
Standout Product: The Golden Wonder bath bomb is extra precious – not only is it shaped like the very box it came in, it also features surprising notes like cognac and Lush’s famous ‘Snow Showers’ champagne-inspired fragrance.
For Your Sister: From The North Pole – $49.95
I have to say, the packaging on this pretty peppermint-inspired gift set might just be my very favourite – and the Santa-themed gifts inside aren’t anything to sneeze at either. The jolly old man makes a literal appearance with the Father Christmas bath bomb, Sandy Santa sugar scrub, and Captain Bubblebeard reusable bubble bar, while the So White bath bomb, Santa’s Sack bubble bar, and North Pole soap all harken back to his true north workshop. So many goodies for such an amazing price – your sister will absolutely love you to bits for this one!
Standout Product: One thing I sincerely appreciate about Lush’s products is their ability to find ways to make gifts go the distance – like they have with the Santa’s Sack bubble bar. Slip the two presents out from the sack and use them in future baths, and kick things off by crumbling the actual sack under the tap for a spicy, sudsy experience.
For Your Wife: Wonderful Christmastime – $199.95
There’s 24 days before Christmas, so naturally this bathtime mega-box is crammed with 24 seasonal goodies from Lush. An ideal choice for the Lush fanatic, she’ll have months of pampering (and you may be able to sneak a product or two for yourself) ahead of her upon unwrapping this glorious gift. In fact, this pretty much replaces a single spa gift certificate – she can have just a relaxing and fragrant and soothing and moisturizing time at home! Seriously though, if you’re just dying to try all of the new stuff on the shelves this holiday season, skip the hemming and hawing and go straight for the big one. You won’t regret it.
Standout Product: It’s silly of me to try and choose just one, but I haven’t had a chance yet to mention the Crackersnap bath bomb. What I would LOVE is the ‘Wonderful Christmas Time’ package. I love how it says: “For your Wife” and I am pretty sure I will be leaving this somewhere where my husband can see it for some great ideas. In particular, the PONCHE shower gel caught my eye because it states that it will wake you up on dark winter mornings and goodness knows I could use that!
