Current Covets

I’m trying something new this week. Sometimes I like to give new features a whirl – if you’ve been reading this blog long enough you’ll know some stick and some don’t, so we’ll see where this goes. Anyway I thought it would be fun to show you guys a snapshot of what I’m currently loving. Some of these are items I’ve got or am planning to buy, others are more fantastical. Consider it a bit of a wish list that may also draw inspiration for you. Too often I feel like some of the ideas I come across are a little too specific to be featured on their own as part of Flash Post. Although I sneak some of those ideas into other posts, this feature may give me the chance to showcase some more of them to you.

Current Covets(from left)

Cabin Community Sweater – $59.99 @ ModClothThere’s not even a question, this will be mine! Love the colour and Alpine-inspired cut, plus it’s a great layering piece for Canadian falls.

Jeffrey Campbell Blakely Heel – $132 @ Free People Thick-banded heels are having a moment right now. I like these two-tone ones as a last open-toed hurrah for Indian summer and next year.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – $66 @ Holt Renfrew – Don’t get me wrong, I buy higher-end cosmetics, but I haven’t splurged just yet on a truly luxe brand. That being said, if you’re going to go big, go with a product that’s racked up countless beauty award accolades for a decade.

Boho Rhinestone Wrap Bracelets – $17.61 each @ MStreet Studio – Create your own cuff with these chic and sparkly wrap bracelets. Incidentally, this entire Etsy store rocks.

Peacock Backgammon Board – £2100 @ Alexandra Llewellyn Design – Yeah, not in this lifetime, I know. But our talk about luxe board games the other day got me thinking…and this my friends, is about as posh as you can get.

Mayfield Satchel – $49.99 @ Ruche – I know mint is typically a spring colour, but I think pastels can serve as a unique contrast to fall’s browns and jewel tones. This cute satchel is the perfect size to carry your essentials without going overboard.

How about it guys? Want to earn a bonus Magimix entry? Tell me in the comments below if you’re feeling any of my current covets 🙂
