Without fail, every time I walk by a Lush store during the holidays, I get a little tingle of excitement. See, they’ve very cleverly stocked their shelves with dozens of covetable pressies, and given that they’re all already packaged up in cheerful holiday paper and glittery gift boxes, one can simply imagine how lovely they’d look under the tree, handed over to a friend, or you know, in your hands. Today I’ve picked out a few of my favourites + some appropriate gifting scenarios for you to consider.

PERFECT FOR: Your Son or Daughter’s Stocking – FUN Christmas Gift – $8.95
Bath time tends to go most smoothly when it’s fun – and that’s exactly what you’ll get when your kid unwraps this trio of candy-shaped (and coloured) packages of FUN. Unfamiliar with this wonder product? It’s a moldable soap that can be used to make shapes, scrub up, or crumble under the tap for mounds of fluffy, splashworthy bubbles. Honestly, your child probably won’t even realize they’re getting clean they’ll be having so much fun with their FUN.

I picked this gift for a few reasons. First, it’s hella affordable. If you’re doing a $15 & under swap, this one fits the bill. If it’s $10 and under, sneak in the extra $3 and call it a day – Santa will be kind to you later. Secondly, it includes two bath bombs that are perfect for warming up on the chilliest of winter nights (and I have to say, newbie bath bomb Cinders is absolutely to die for, it smells so amazing). Thirdly, fun fact – when Lush co-creator & inventor Helen Ambrosen first saw the Snowmen bath bombs lined up, she thought it looked like they were invading the Lush labs! Cinders was teamed up alongside it to give a crackly accompaniment to the whole ‘invasion’ theme.

PERFECT FOR: Your New Smoochworthy Girlfriend – Christmas Kisses – $22.95
So you’ve recently started dating and while you’re totally infatuated with this girl, you’re also a little unsteady in the gifting department. How much to spend? What to buy? Will it be something that works with her interests? Here’s a hint: if you’re both interested in kissing one another, why not help her prep her pout with this three-pack of lip-nourishing goodies. It’s the perfect way to tell a friend that she’s a true star in your life, while she gets to enjoy the glittery fruits of your gift-giving labours.

PERFECT FOR: Your Wannabe Rock Stars Mom and Dad – Getting Ziggy With It – $76.95
My husband is always hesitant to touch any of my products in the bathroom, although after some prodding I’ve convinced him that Lush’s products are for the most part, quite unisex (although he may want to steer clear of the glittery bath melts…) After all, my dad’s favourite scent is Rock Star, which is nothing if not girly and sugary at the same time. Anyway, this funkily-packaged set features a range of earthy, psychedelic products that’ll take mom and pops back to their not-so-innocent youth. From patchouli Karma soap to Grass shower gel to champagne-infused Celebrate body lotion, this funky collection is perfect for mom and dad to split in two (and share) in the shower. Okay there selfish shellfish. You’ve seen the gift ideas I’ve presented above and you WANT IT ALL. I don’t blame you.
