Rise to Radiance
I don’t know about you, but summertime tends to be one of those times we take a closer look at our skin. Perhaps it’s because we’re busy slathering on sunscreen on a daily basis (or on the flip side, nursing a sunburn, ouch!) or maybe it’s because we’re out and about more, getting our photo taken on vacations or at weddings. Whatever the case may be, if you’re staring in your reflection more and noticing little imperfections, I’ve got good news: relief is on the way.
Optimera Night and Day Creams are a brand new innovation from Texas-based brand Nerium International. Nerium is actually well-known for their approach to product development, which marries scientific research with incredible breakthroughs that are clinically proven to actually work – something not too many skincare brands can lay claim to. Since launching in 2011, they’ve seen incredible sales and success, but it’s only as of these last few months that their Optimera collection has been available up north.
So what’s all the fuss about, you’re wondering? Well, the big difference maker with Optimera’s two-pronged approach to skincare is SAL-14; a patent pending extract that is available exclusively within this botanically-based duo of lotions. This extract has been proven to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, balance out uneven skin texture or discolouration, shrink pores, and help your skin appear more youthful overall – not a bad concept for those of you that have major events on the horizon. Their clinical trials had pretty astounding results: 97% of users stated their skin looked more radiant, while 93% said their wrinkles were diminished. While the brand isn’t entirely natural, it is free from parabens, gluten, propylene glycol, sulfates, DEA and synthetic colours – it’s a fantastic sign too that the first ingredient on both face potions is aloe leaf juice. Given that it’s unscented and surprisingly lightweight for all of its skin-lavishing powers, it actually works great under your daily makeup routine (or even on its own, paired with a sheer sunscreen-infused CC Cream).
The brand’s line is short and sweet – just two products, but for good reason, given how potent they are, especially when used in combination. Both the day and night cream can be rubbed into your face, as well as other areas prone to sagging or wrinkles, such as your neck or decolletage. As mentioned, Optimera is new to the Canadian market – it has only been available across the country since June! You can purchase it online at MyNerium.com. If you’re curious to give it a whirl, the duo can be bought for $188, or $125 for just the night cream. If you’re convinced, they also offer preferred pricing for those wishing to automatically receive their lotions on a regularly scheduled basis. Not happy? They even offer a 30-day return policy if it doesn’t quite gel with your skin.
As with most skincare products I recommend here on the CGG, the ‘audience’ for your gifting is pretty broad. Obviously one of the most logical choices here is mom: I promise she won’t be upset that you’re handing over the keys to the fountain of youth, in fact, she’ll probably brag next time you see her and ask if you notice a difference (which you will). With the price point on the moderately high side, this is a great treat for any woman in your life that’ll allow her to cut back on spa visits too – your wife / mom / sister / friend / daughter will enjoy more toned, tightened and youthful skin in a very short time.
Want to give your skin a makover? Fantastic news! I’ve got one Optimera Day & Night Cream Duo to give away to a very lucky and soon-to-be-radiant reader. Here’s how to enter for your chance to win:

Optimera Day and Night Cream would be great for the current skin care regime as it can be problematic with the change in temps during the summer & fall/winter seasons (humidity, air quality, etc). Thank you.
I’ll be turning 50 next year and am starting to see little signs of aging. I need this to erase that. I currently use a serum & moisturizer in the morning and another moisturizer at night. A CC cream when I need it and that about it.
I use cetaphyl to wash and any lotion with a sunblock. I have noticed the neck and around my mouth starting to slag. This product would be perfect for me. Hugs

My skin is quite dull and always seem to be happier with moisturizer and of course has wrinkles now. I do cleanse and moisturize and use a serum twice a day, but would love to try these. The results seem to be very good.
I need the night and day cream to combat my dry skin – I currently use moisturizer daily to keep my skin healthy.
I have combination skin that is hard to balance, I am constantly fighting with different issues. I would like to try Optimera
I have highly sensitive skin and am dealing with Rosacea. I would love to try this.
Why I need the day and night cream. I need to start using something on my face. my poor skin after back to back to back to back pregnancies is very different from what it was. I need something new
I like to switch up the creams I use and this one sounds good!
This seems like an amazing product. I would love to try it. Thanks
I am definitely seeing the signs of aging on my skin and would love to have a product that guarantees results! I will keep my fingers crossed on this giveaway because I couldn’t afford to buy it for myself.
I’m also turning 50 next year and I’m starting to see fine lines around the eyes would love to try this product I have heard good things about it
This is a product I could use since I’m getting older…no need to say more!
My skincare approach is pretty basic.
I have some fine lines and dark spots on my face that I’d like to use this product on.
I currently use whatever is on sale at the drug store and don’t like the unnatural ingredients.
I would like to win it to gift it to my mother.
I prefer natural and simple products.
I need Optimera Day and Night Cream in my life ‘cos I need all the things that it’s proven – to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, balance out uneven skin texture and discolouration, shrink pores, and help my skin appear more youthful overall. Currently my approach to skincare right now is pretty minimal with only the occasional slap of sunscreen protection, which is promptly washed off by my salty sweat as I ride to & from work. For moisturization, it’s whatever my coworkers bring back from the trips, ie hotel toiletries!

I need the Optimera Day and Night Cream in my life because I have quite a bit of discolouration that I’d like to help reduce, as well as some fine lines. I’d like to help prevent deeper wrinkles too.
Brenda, I sent you a friend request on FB and am happy to help you if no one has contacted you.
Life and stress and getting older. My face is starting to show it. Discolorastion is probably my biggest probelm
I have fine lines and a crepy neck. Both need a little help.
anything to reduce fine lines & wrinkles would be beneficial – current regime is to use serums, but would be nice to try something new.
i want to be radiant!
I need Optimera Day and Night Cream for my poor skin – dry, fine lines, suffering from the last bad winter and now the hot summer. My approach is the simpler the better

I’m getting older so i would like something good for my skin. I don’t really have a ritual now. I just wash with a cleanser.
I am mid-forties and am showing fine lines on my face which I want to minimize. I use sunscreen every day to protect from uv rays.
My skin is dry. I need to keep the skin healthyier.
I just turned 48 and so could really use a good skin regime I use oil of olay right now

I would like to try these because I cannot afford any real great products to use for washing my face, and these sound amazing! I typically buy store brand/generic products and my skin would love a boost! Thanks for the giveaway!
The 70’s called & wanted its skin, wrinkle, grim, dirt back. My skin is like leather. . Thanks for the awesomeness, the contest, & generosity.
I’m looking to try something to jazz up my routine. I find if I tend to stick with the same products over a long period of time, they don’t tend to work too well.
I am always looking for a better product to help stave off the signs of aging. This looks pretty effective.
Each year my skin seems to get more dry and my old creams are not working. This product looks like it would work on my old skin.
I would really like to minimize fine lines and wrinkles. I currently don’t have a facial cream that I love and would like to find one.
My skin is dry and sensitive so I am always looking for a non-irritating anti-aging skincare line. Right now I switch around a lot but usually use a hydrating serum and cream at night and an SPF cream for day.
I love that it helps to balance discolouration and shrink pores…right now I’m trying different products to see what is best for my skin.
I have very dry skin. I’d love to try the day and night cream to help keep it moisturized. I currently use a Vitamin E moisturizer in the morning and before bed.
I’d like to win this because if the clinical trials said they had pretty astounding results: 97% of users stated their skin looked more radiant, while 93% said their wrinkles were diminished. Thats good enough for me!!
I have dry mature skin and think this would work great
My wife is in her 50’s and she obviously fears her looks going so this would give her some hope.
I am always looking for a new product that will give me the great looking skin I want!
I need these creams in my life to keep my skin soft, supple and healthy looking.
I’d LOVE to win the Optimera Day & Night Creams! I’ve tried different products, but nothing has really impressed me yet. I’m a busy middle aged Mom and really like the simplicity and results these products promise.
Wrinkles, fine lines & discoloration from sunburns when I was younger is why I’d like to try these products. I hate to admit it but my skin care routine consists of a touch of moisturizer whenever I remember to do it or when my skin tells me it’s time.
i have a bunch of products i use randomly . it would be nice to have quality products and a good routine
My skin is very dry and uneven in tone. I have tried many creams but cannot find the right one. Maybe these creams are my answer.
The cream would target quite a few of my problem areas such as uneven skin texture and largish pores. And I figure at it’s price point it might actually be successful at correcting these problem areas.

I’ve never heard of this brand before but it sounds pretty interesting. I like that it’s free from many of the nasty ingredients usually found in the high end products. What interests me the most is that it is fragrance free though – it’s so hard to find high quality facial products that are fragrance free.

I need Optimera in my life right now because cheap skincare products just don’t work on me! To be honest, I don’t really have a skincare routine other than washing my face in the shower and moisturizing after with some homemade face cream that my friend made for me.

Optimera comes with a 30-Day money back guarantee if your not satisfied. What do you have to lose except your wrinkles.
I currently use skin cleanser that helps with acne but it drys out my skin. And I have a hard time finding moisturizers that are not oily. I could really use a product like this also because i’m starting to notice fine lines and would love a moisturizer that will minimize and slow this down!
I have a lax approach to skincare right now, and just wash and moisturize twice a day. I need Optimera Day and Night Cream in my life because I have been trying to incorporate more quality products in my routine.

I have been waiting for Nerium to bring their products north since hearing about the company 2 years ago. I’m now a full brand partner with this amazing company and all I can say is OPTIMERA ROCKS!!! Never have I had such beautiful skin with such an easy regime. The myriad of creams, lotions, toner…etc that use to grace my bathroom counter are long gone. 2 products does it all and I’ve seen better results with this than other products 2 – 3 X what Optimera goes for. I LOVE IT!
I need Optimera products to use since entering my 50’s I find you need to use quality products to help with moisturizing and skin damage. I like that there are only 2 products as I like to keep things simple.
Currently I have a nightly routine that involves washing and moisturizing but its not 100% perfect. I love trying new things to make it perfect.
I am now in my 40s and starting to see those fine lines, so that’s why I really need this product day and night 🙂
I currently use mary kay day and night creams but am looking for something new. loved to try this out.
I live in a very harsh climate (Winnipeg) where it gets so hot in the summer and so cold in the winter that I have trouble finding a perfectly balanced skin routine for both seasons. I would love to give Optimera a try.
Maybe this could help my dull and dry complexion. I have a very simple skincare and rarely use creams.
I need it because it looks great, and I like great. My approach now is whatever’s best at the store.
It would be interesting to try something new and see if it would make a diffence in my skin.
This stuff looks awesome – and possibly even okay for guys to use to. I’m interested.
At my age, I need all the help I can get. Optimera, take me away!
I’m probably a little young to start using this, but my mom always tells me you’re never too young to take care of your skin. So sign me up! 😀
Looks like a great product. I would love to try it
