Slap To It

FlaxusWhat It Is: The ubiquitous ‘slap bracelet’ of the 90s is back…with a 21st century twist. Rendered in a half-dozen fruity shades, this quilt-patterned bracelet features two rubber nibs at either end. Why you ask? Because when you unfold this sturdy yet stylish bracelet, it also doubles as a stylus for your favourite touchscreen device – putting ease-of-use at your literal fingertips. The entire bracelet is designed to avoid a build-up of dust and grime, but it can be washed (or the nibs can be replaced). Genius.

Who It’s For: Your iPad-addicted coworker, to impress clients at sales presentations. Your jetsetting sibling, to whip off while waiting at the gate. Your tech-obsessed best friend, to make truly smart fashion statement.

What It Costs: $23.95

Where It’s At: The AEGLO website.

Speaking of innovative design, I seriously hope you checked out yesterday’s super cool Retailer Spotlight on Opuszone. Want a bonus entry into that draw? Tell me below – would you wear this techie bracelet? What colour?

I would give the black one to my daughter. I don’t have that kind of computer or tablet yet, but she uses hers all day and the black would fit in perfectly at work, too.
