Just Roll With It
What It Is: Calling all wannabe sushi chefs! Let me tell you, I’ve read a book on what it takes to become a sushi chef and dear me it is a LOT of work. The good news is, the authors behind this helpful book teach you the ways through 75 easy-to-follow, accessible recipes. Every ingredient, every step is artfully laid out with a clean, visually appealing design – ideally as appealing as your handmade creations will turn out. Who It’s For: Your sushi-loving bestie that’s on a budget, to give her the tools she needs to seriously DIY. Your cooking-loving host for your next dinner party, as a hint perhaps sushi will be the theme at the party after that. Your mom, or alternatively, your daughter, so you can spend an afternoon together in the kitchen trying your hand at some Japanese delights.
What It Costs: The retail price is $42, however it can be found online for less.
Where It’s At: Booksellers nationwide, as well as Amazon.ca

I like vegetarian sushi (love Wasabi) and can usually get a few of the less fishy-tasting fish ones down if I don’t think about it too much. Yes I’m squeamish :0 This book looks interesting. I know people who make their own sushi, and who love doing it. So I’d gift this book to them, and wait for the dinner invite.
