Cool! Thanks so much for the chance for some extra entries! 1. What was your favourite gift idea featured on the Canadian Gift Guide this holiday season (or past year)? Wow, kind of hard to pick, with so many ideas! But the first one that pops to my mind is the gingerbread cookie cutters in the shape of gingerbread men doing yoga (from the “Jingle Belles Rock” giveaway). This is my favourite because it is so unique, as a gift, and it’s kind of hard to find totally unique gifts to give. 2. Did you buy anything featured on the CGG this holiday season (or past year)? Yes, for sure! I can’t remember everything I bought, but I do remember that the posts I found really helpful are the ones that list gift ideas for men, because I find men much harder to buy for. There was a shaving kit listed in one post that makes a great gift, and other cool ideas for men’s gifts.
3. What were some of your favourite posts this holiday season (or past year)? I like the one on gifts for teens, because, at 37, I feel somewhat unaware of what to give teens, and I also liked “Current Covets” very much. 4. What would you like to see more of on the CGG? I love CGG just as it is, and I especially love how well-written it is. The only small thing I can think of is that it could be really nice to see more items from small, local craftspeople, etc. Might just be neat to see what’s out there, with local businesses, smaller businesses, etc. For example, I have a friend I went to school with who now owns her own jewellery shop, and I think she makes most of her own items. Would be neat to see more of that kind of thing. 5. What are some of your favourite brands or retailers? Body Shop is one of my favourites. Another BIG favourite is Pacifica (because I love their all-natural perfumes and body lotions), I’m a big fan of Indigo, and of Voluspa candles. For everyday items, I like Target. I’m a BIG fan of the online site, Well.ca, and order a lot from them because their customers service goes above and beyond.
