Beg For More

Slobbers Organic Dog TreatsWhat It Is: I know I feature a fair number of cat gift ideas on here (my cat makes me), but I couldn’t resist highlighting this amazing gift idea for dog lovers – and the pups themselves. Slobbers is a Canadian organic dog treats brand that specializes in creating wholesome, tasty treats that will improve your pet’s health – and have ’em happily begging for more. In fact, they’re the only certified organic, grain-free, human grade dog treats made right here in Canada. The treats are generally made with locally-sourced ingredients and are designed to supplement your pup’s regular diet with important nutrients they may be missing out on from their regular diet.

Best of all, you can feel good about purchasing Slobbers. You’re supporting a Canadian family-run business, one that truly cares about the well-being of dogs and carefully bakes their product in small batches for top notch quality control. Apart from using ECOCERT organic ingredients, the company also infuses environmental practices into all aspects of their business – composting and recycling, and donating broken / unusable treats to dog shelters.

Did I mention how droolworthy the flavours sound, even to a human? The treats are loaded with favourite comfort flavours for pups and people alike – peanut butter & jam, coconut banana, apple pie, and their new variety pumpkin love are the perfect way to reward your pet for being a best friend.

Who It’s For: Your favourite puppy of course, first and foremost. Your friend or family member that just got a new dog. Your local shelter, as a nice perk-me-up for the pups.

What It Costs: $9.99 a bag

Where It’s At: Slobbers can be purchased online, but they’re also available at a ton of retailers across Canada.

Exciting news puppy lovers! Me and the folks at Slobbers are giving one of you readers a chance to nab one bag each of their delicious dog treats. Want to win? Here’s how to enter:
