To The Nines

Spier and MacKayWhat It Is: Today’s post isn’t so much a what, but a who? Spier & Mackay is an Ontario-based men’s retailer that carries all matter of clothing – from tailored suits and trousers to belts and ties. Their pricing is pretty awesome to begin with, but what really caught my eye is their online custom shirt tool. Now you can design a custom dress shirt for as little as $69, if you buy three at a time (regular price is $89). The design tool is really easy and comprehensive, giving you control over everything from the shirt collar to the fabric to the cuff type. You can also make it super personal by embroidering the shirt with the lucky gift recipient’s initials. So suave!

Who It’s For: Your son, who is just about to start his first office job. Your husband, as a lovely anniversary present. Your dad, because he knows the value of a nice dress shirt.

What It Costs: $69-$89 for a custom shirt (in most cases).

Where It’s At: Spier & Mackay is online, but they can also be visited in-person in their Mississauga shop.

BONUS entry into this month’s Perkse Coffee & Tea giveaway – tell me in the comments below, what do you think of this custom gift idea?

you could use an online shirtmaker such as http://www.lewistaylorshirts.com who use 10 body measurements to get the right size

  23. Ellie Buonvivere says:

I love this idea as you are truly giving a give that is tailored to fit the recipient! Who wouldn’t like a custom fit shirt? The price doesn’t seem expensive when you consider most higher end shirts, off the rack cost this much.
