Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Him
Tis the season for stocking stuffers! Today I’ve picked out 10 great stocking stuffer ideas for him. Shall we?
Beard Soap – $13.99 + Beard Balm – $14.99 + Beard Oil – $28 @ Griffin
I have a shaving gift idea a little later on in this post, but if you want something for the man with a beard, then be sure to check out Griffin. This first of many Canadian mentions in this post takes an artisanal approach to man grooming, with 100% organic, natural ingredients, handcrafted with unique formulations. While creators (and brothers) Dan and Jeff originally crafted their triumvirate of products for their own use, it soon become clear there was a gap in the market for their softening, hydrating, fragrant items.
Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen – $16.99 @ Drugstores
Get a whiter, brighter smile this holiday season with this smart 2-in-1 gift idea. First, it’s a toothbrush that’s perfect for clearing away the daily plaque buildup with Colgate’s super engineered bristles. Second, inside the handle of the toothbrush is a whitening pen, designed to give you a whiter smile in just two days! It’s a great 1-2 punch for a pretty smile with a practical purpose.
KeySmart 2.0 – $19.98 each
Have one too many keys jangling about? Meet the super sophisticated (and stylish if I do say so) minimalist key holder that stashes up to 100 (no joke) keys in a streamlined profile. This super handy gadget comes in a range of colours so everyone in your family can have their own. Handmade in Chicago, these airplane aluminum key chains are super sturdy and eliminate key jangle and sharp wayward keys from jabbing you in the leg or butt. If you have a digital car fob, there’s also a ring to attach it. Also available in an extended model – this is a cool stocking stuffer for everyone on your list, but I particularly loved it for guys as they don’t have the luxury of a purse to stash their keys in.
Star Wars Socks – $20+ @ Stance
The biggest movie of the year is about to hit theatres – so naturally there’s been plenty of cross-pollination with other brands this season. But one of my fave collabs has to be these fun and surprisingly detailed socks from cult fave brand Stance. With eight different styles to choose from – from Leia to R2D2 to Storm Troopers – there are plenty of comical pairs to keep the Warheads in your household happy.
Olivier Soaps Men’s Line – From $7.95
I’ve featured Olivier Soaps a few times this holiday season and for good reason. This classy Canadian brand uses natural, premium ingredients to take care of your skin – a must-have during the upcoming dry winter months. They also have some great items for men – like a musky patchouli soap or their shaving kit, which includes a shaving soap brick, premium badger brush, and container. It’s a nice gift for him, but one that’ll benefit you too as his whiskery face will be nice and buttery soft.
Stasis Preserves Hot Sauce – $7 each
Spice things up even if it’s cold outside with one of Stasis Preserves smoking hot sauces! 100% natural and made here in Canada, these zippy sauces are made with locally-grown vegetables and retain their own unique flavour profiles. The Ghost Chili Hot Sauce is super hot but has a slight Caribbean tang to it, while the Scorpion Chili Hot Sauce is equally hot but has a little more kick and sweetness. Either way, you can’t go wrong gifting your spicy-loving guy an artisan hot sauce.
Hot Buttered Rum Mix – $13.99 @ Epicure
Even if you aren’t much of a rum drinker, there is something tantalizing about a warm, buttery alcoholic drink in the wintertime. Make his Christmas morning an extra merry one with this super simple hot buttered rum mix. Simply add in hot water, a few spoonfuls of mix, some rum, and a lemon for garnish and you’ve got a festive cocktail to make spirits bright. It can also be used in creamy cocktails, or sprinkled on pancakes or oatmeal.
TUTSWVET – $10
There’s a battle going on in your bathroom. Many folks are finding regular TP just ain’t doing the job, but wet wipes tend to clog up plumbing. The solution then, could be this ingenious new product from Canadian brand TUTSWVET. Simply spritz the dermatologist-tested formula onto a few squares of toilet paper and enjoy a refreshing, thorough clean. It’s a bit of a joke gift, but it’s also totally practical and something he will secretly love! Available online or at select retailers across Canada.
Lewis N. Clark Luggage Tag – $6.25 @ MEC
Is he going on a great adventure in the near year? Make sure his luggage pops with one of these cool, artistic luggage tags. With a nature-y, earthy vibe, these luggage tags have a durable screw-lock cable and can be recycled when they finally wear out. Plus, they hold a business card, so you can easily update your address by simply sliding in a new card and writing on the back.
Province Apothecary Incense – $12 a Box
I will always associate incense with my dad. He started burning these fragrant sticks when I was a kid and although they are certainly a gender-neutral stocking stuffer idea, it felt appropriate to include them there. Province Apothecary’s incense, for the record, are infused with powerful essential oils to suit every mood. Want to relax? Try Lavender. Need a pick-me-up? Go for Black Spruce + Fir Balsam. This holiday season, they even have a limited edition Sweet Orange + Bay variety. It’s a beautiful gift idea he’ll use and love that’ll make his man cave smell like a dream.
Once again I am quite pleased to have a lovely prize package valued at $140 for one dude to enjoy this holiday season, including:
- Griffin Beard Soap + Beard Balm
- KeySmart 2.0
- Olivier Soaps Shaving Soap + Premium Badger Brush
- Stasis Preserves Hot Sauces
- TUTSWVET ‘Fresh Start’ Kit (Bottle of TUTSWVET + Undies)
- Province Apothecary Sweet Orange + Bay Incense and Brass Incense Holder
